Travel allowance for circuit judges.

478.017. 1. Each circuit judge of a judicial circuitcomposed of a single county which now has or may hereafter haveless than two hundred thousand inhabitants and in which circuitcourt is held in more than one place and each circuit andassociate circuit judge of a circuit court which consists of morethan one county, in addition to his salary*, shall be reimbursedout of the state treasury for all reasonable and necessary traveland subsistence expenses incurred in holding court at any placein the county of his residence other than the place of hisresidence.

2. Each circuit and associate circuit judge of a judicialcircuit which consists of more than one county, in addition tohis salary, shall be reimbursed out of the state treasury for allreasonable and necessary travel and subsistence expenses incurredin holding court in a county other than the county of hisresidence.

3. Whenever a judge, other than a municipal judge, travelsto any place other than to the judge's regular courtroom orcourtrooms to hear municipal ordinance violation cases, he shallbe reimbursed from the state treasury, in addition to his salary,for his reasonable and necessary travel and subsistence expensesincurred in holding court at such place.
