Additional court cost imposed, municipal ordinance violations--waiver,when--collection (St. Louis City).
488.2210. 1. In addition to all other court costs for municipalordinance violations, any city not within a county may provide foradditional court costs in an amount up to twenty dollars per each case foreach municipal ordinance violation case filed before a municipal divisionjudge or associate circuit judge.
2. The judge may waive the assessment of the cost in those caseswhere the defendant is found by the judge to be indigent and unable to paythe cost.
3. Such cost shall be collected by the clerk and disbursed to thecity at least monthly.
