Sheriff's deed in tax sale, evidence of what.
490.400. All deeds heretofore executed, or that mayhereafter be executed, by any sheriff to a purchaser of land soldfor delinquent and back taxes, shall be prima facie evidence thatthe persons named therein as defendants in the suit to enforcethe lien of the state of Missouri for the delinquent and backtaxes, were the absolute owners of the land conveyed, at the timeof the institution of the action.
