Fees of witnesses.
491.280. 1. Witnesses shall be allowed fees for their services inthe amount of twenty-five dollars per day plus a mileage allowancedetermined as provided in section 33.095, RSMo.
2. Each witness may be examined on oath by the court or by the clerkwhen the court shall so order, as to factors relevant to the proper amountof payment pursuant to this section.
