Refusal of party to satisfy--proceedings.

511.620. If a person receiving satisfaction of a judgment ordecree shall refuse within a reasonable time after request of theparty interested therein to acknowledge satisfaction on therecord, or cause the same to be done in the manner hereinprovided, the person so interested may, on notice given, apply tothe court to have the same done, and the court may thereuponorder satisfaction to be entered by the clerk, with like effectas if acknowledged as aforesaid; and the cost attending suchacknowledgment shall be recovered of the party refusing byfee-bill, as in other cases.
