544.275. When a person committed to the department ofcorrections is a defendant in a criminal or civil proceedingother than jury trials, or a plaintiff in a civil proceedingother than a jury trial, or the movant in a postconvictionproceeding, such proceeding may in the discretion of the judge beheard within a correctional facility of the department ofcorrections.
