Commitment of party, when.
544.340. When such person is not released as provided insection 544.455, he may be committed to prison by an order underthe hand of the associate circuit judge, stating concisely thathe is committed for further examination on a future day, to benamed in the order, and on the day appointed he may be broughtbefore the associate circuit judge, by his verbal order to theofficer who made the commitment, or by his order in writing to adifferent person.
