Recognizance on appeal--misdemeanor cases.

547.190. Where an appeal or writ of error is prosecuted froma judgment in case of misdemeanor, or in case the appeal is takenby the state, the recognizance shall be conditioned that thedefendant shall appear in the court in which the judgment shallhave been rendered at such time and place as the appellate courtshall direct, and that he will render himself in execution, andobey any order or judgment which shall be made in the premises.
