Tampering with electronic monitoring equipment.
575.205. 1. A person commits the crime of tampering with electronicmonitoring equipment if the person intentionally removes, alters, tamperswith, damages, or destroys electronic monitoring equipment which a court orthe board of probation and parole has required such person to wear.
2. This section does not apply to the owner of the equipment or anagent of the owner who is performing ordinary maintenance or repairs on theequipment.
3. The crime of tampering with electronic monitoring equipment is aclass C felony.
