Littering with carcasses--penalty.

577.076. 1. If any person or persons shall put any deadanimal, carcass or part thereof, the offal or any other filthinto any well, spring, brook, branch, creek, pond, or lake, everyperson so offending shall, on conviction thereof, be fined notless than twenty-five nor more than five hundred dollars.

2. If any person shall remove, or cause to be removed andplaced in or near any public road or highway, or upon premisesnot his own, or in any river, stream or watercourse any deadanimal, carcass or part thereof, or other nuisance, to theannoyance of the citizens of this state, or any of them, everyperson so offending shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined forevery offense not less than twenty-five dollars nor more thanfive hundred dollars, and if such nuisance be not removed withinthree days thereafter, it shall be deemed a second offenseagainst the provisions of this section.
