578.265. 1. No person shall knowingly and intentionally sell orotherwise transfer possession of any solvent, particularly toluol, amylnitrite, butyl nitrite, cyclohexyl nitrite, ethyl nitrite, pentyl nitrite,and propyl nitrite and their iso-analogues to any person for the purpose ofcausing a condition of, or inducing symptoms of, intoxication, elation,euphoria, dizziness, excitement, irrational behavior, exhilaration,paralysis, stupefaction, or dulling of senses or nervous system, or for thepurpose of, in any manner, changing, distorting, or disturbing the audio,visual, or mental processes.

2. No person who owns or operates any business which receives overfifty percent of its gross annual income from the sale of alcoholicbeverages or beer shall sell or offer for sale toluol, amyl nitrite, butylnitrite, cyclohexyl nitrite, ethyl nitrite, pentyl nitrite, and propylnitrite and their iso-analogues, or any toxic glue.

3. No person who owns or operates any business which operates as avenue for live entertainment performance or receives over fifty percent ofits gross annual income from the sale of recorded video entertainment shallsell or offer for sale toluol, amyl nitrite, butyl nitrite, cyclohexylnitrite, ethyl nitrite, pentyl nitrite, propyl nitrite or theiriso-analogues.

4. Any person who violates the provisions of subsection 1 or 2 ofthis section is guilty of a class C felony.
