Fund established, administration, purpose.
589.307. 1. There is hereby established in the statetreasury the "Missouri Crime Prevention Information andProgramming Fund". The Missouri crime prevention information andprogramming fund shall be administered by the center createdwithin the department of public safety. Money in the fund shallbe used solely for carrying out the provisions of sections589.300 to 589.310.
2. Any moneys received from private sources, gifts,donations, transferred from other governmental agencies, orgenerated by center-sponsored activities shall be credited to theMissouri crime prevention information and programming fund.
3. The provisions of section 33.080, RSMo, to the contrarynotwithstanding, moneys in the Missouri crime preventioninformation and programming fund shall not be transferred andplaced to the credit of the general revenue fund.
