Medical providers to submit information, when, penalty--medicalproviders, defined.
595.027. 1. Upon request by the department for verification ofinjuries of victims, medical providers shall submit the informationrequested by the department within twenty working days of the request at nocost to the fund.
2. For purposes of this section, "medical providers" meansphysicians, dentists, clinical psychologists, optometrists, podiatrists,registered nurses, physician's assistants, chiropractors, physicaltherapists, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, and nursing homes.
3. Failure to submit the information as required by this sectionshall be an infraction.
