Economic development export and infrastructure board personnel,participation in medical benefits plan, conditions--contribution,payment--family members participation, qualifications.
620.176. Any person who is appointed or employed by theMissouri economic development export and infrastructure board whois not an employee of the state of Missouri and a member of aretirement system supported in whole or in part by the state ofMissouri may participate in a state-supported plan for medicalbenefits if the board elects to contribute an amount per eachsuch person equal to the amount that the state contributes foreach covered state employee for medical benefits under theprovisions of section 104.515, RSMo. The board shall pay theamount to be contributed to the commissioner of administrationfor transmittal and deposit in the state treasury in the accountmaintained for medical, life insurance and disability benefits.If the board so elects, the spouses and unemancipated childrenunder twenty-three years of age of the appointees or employeesmay participate in the program to cover medical expenses underthe provisions of and subject to the payment requirementsestablished pursuant to subsection 3 of section 104.515, RSMo.
