Penalty for an officer or agent violating state law or an order ofdivision, misdemeanor.

622.490. Every officer, agent or employee of any carrier, corporationor person who violates or fails to comply with, or who procures, aids orabets any violation by any carrier, corporation or person of any provisionof the constitution of this state or of this or any other law, or who failsto obey, observe or comply with any order, decision, decree, rule,direction, demand or requirement, or any part or provision thereof, of thedivision, or who procures, aids or abets any carrier, corporation or personin their or its failure to obey, observe and comply with any such order,decision, decree, rule, direction, demand or requirement, or any part orprovision thereof, in a case in which a penalty has not been provided forsuch officer, agent or employee, is guilty of a misdemeanor and ispunishable by a fine not exceeding one thousand dollars, or by imprisonmentin a county jail not exceeding one year, or by both such fine andimprisonment.
