Director's power to contract research studies.
625.101. In the performance of his duties, the director isempowered and authorized to enter into contracts and to assumesuch other functions as are necessary to carry out the provisionsof this chapter that are not inconsistent with law. The directormay make and enter into contracts with other boards, commissions,agencies and institutions of this state or other states, publicor private, upon such terms as may be mutually agreed upon, andto have such studies and research activities conducted as may benecessary and proper, the costs thereof to be paid out of fundswhich may be appropriated to the division.
