Pay patient to be provided suitable clothing before admission--mayreceive gifts of clothing.
630.225. Before any patient who can support himself isadmitted into any facility operated by the department, he shallbe furnished, by those responsible for his support, with suitablechanges of clothing. If patients who are able to supportthemselves as determined under section 630.210 are in need ofclothing, the business manager, under the direction of the headof the facility, shall furnish the same. The department shallcalculate expenditures for such clothing as part of the per diemexpense. Nothing in this section shall be construed asprohibiting the purchase of clothing by, or gifts of clothing to,a patient or resident by his family or friends.
