Time limits for certain procedures.
632.320. 1. Within three hours of the time at which therespondent arrives at a mental health facility he shall:
(1) Be seen by a mental health professional or registeredprofessional nurse; and
(2) Be given a copy of the application for initial detentionand evaluation, a notice of rights pursuant to section 632.325and a notice giving the name, business address and telephonenumber of the attorney appointed to represent him; and
(3) Be provided assistance in contacting the appointedattorney or an attorney of his own choosing, if so requested.
2. Within eighteen hours after the respondent arrives at themental health facility, he shall be examined by a licensedphysician.
3. Within four days after the respondent arrives at themental health facility, unless sooner released, the mental healthcoordinator shall meet with the respondent and explain hisstatutory rights under this chapter.
