Funding for federally qualified health centers, uses--report to thedirector.

660.026. Subject to appropriation, the director of the department ofsocial services, or the director's designee, may contract with and providefunding support to federally qualified health centers, as defined in 42U.S.C. Section 1396d(1)(2)(B), in this state. Funds appropriated pursuantto this section shall be used to assist such centers in ensuring thathealth care, including dental care, and mental health services is availableto needy persons in this state. Such funds may also be used by centers forcapital expansion, infrastructure redesign or other similar uses if federalfunding is not available for such purposes. No later than forty-five daysfollowing the end of each federal fiscal year, the centers shall report tothe director of the department of social services the number of patientsserved by age, race, gender, method of payment and insurance status.
