Sanctioning of registration, when.
700.098. 1. The commission may refuse to register an applicant as adealer, or may suspend the registration of an existing dealer from one dayto thirty days, or revoke the registration of a dealer after a writtennotice and a hearing when the commission is satisfied that the applicant ordealer has failed to comply with the provisions set out in sections 700.010to 700.115. Notification of unfavorable action by the commission on anyapplication for registration or renewal of registration shall beaccompanied by a notice informing the recipient that the decision of thedirector may be appealed as provided in chapter 386, RSMo.
2. It shall be unlawful for any person to hold forth or act as adealer who is not currently registered as a dealer by the commission asrequired by sections 700.010 to 700.115.
