701.324. Nothing in sections 701.300 to 701.324 shall beinterpreted or applied in any manner to defeat or impair theright of any person, entity, municipality or other politicalsubdivision to maintain an action or suit for damages sustainedor for equitable relief, or for violation of an ordinance byreason of or in connection with any violation of sections 701.300to 701.330. Sections 701.300 to 701.338 shall not prohibit anycity, village, township or other political subdivision fromenacting and enforcing ordinances establishing a system of leadpoisoning control which provides the same or higher standardsthan those set forth in sections 701.300 to 701.338.
