Inspectors authority to enter premises to inspect--installations to beregistered with board, form, content.

701.371. The chief safety inspector or other inspectorauthorized and designated by him may, during reasonable hours,enter any premises within the state without hindrance for thepurpose of inspecting any installation. No owner or lessee shalloperate any installation not registered with the board, givingthe type, contract load, speed, name of the manufacturer,location, the nature of the use and any other information whichthe board may require. Such information shall be made on a formapproved by the board. Within a reasonable time period asdetermined by the board, after August 28, 1994, the owner orlessee of every existing elevator, escalator, moving walk,manlift, and stairway inclined lift shall register with the boardeach such installation owned or operated by him, giving type,rated load and speed, name of manufacturer, location, the purposefor which it is used and such other information as the board mayrequire. Such registration shall be made on a form furnished bythe board.
