54-2739. Source flock, defined.Source flock means a flock in which a department or APHIS representative has determined that at least one animal was born that was diagnosed as a scrapie-positive animal at an age of seventy-two months or less. The determination that an animal was born in a source flock shall be in accordance with the guidelines in 9 C.F.R. parts 54 and 79. A flock will no longer be a source flock after the requirements of a flock plan have been completed. SourceLaws 2003, LB 158, § 39.
