160.170 Discharge of guardian. When a minor ward for whom a guardian has been appointed under the provisions of this chapter or other laws of this state attains his or her majority, and if incompetent is declared competent by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the court, and when any incompetent ward, not a minor, is declared competent by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the court, the guardian must, upon making a satisfactory accounting, be discharged upon a petition filed for that purpose.
