Section 184:57 Official Duty.
It shall be the duty of the department of health and human services to enforce the provisions of this chapter relating to oleomargarine and other butter substitutes and imitation cheese. Provided, however, that agents of the state department of agriculture, markets, and food may be authorized by said department to act as inspectors, at the expense of said department, for the purpose of obtaining evidence of violations.
