Section 313-A:21 Inspectors.


   I. The department of health and human services shall employ inspectors and authorize them to enter and make reasonable examination and inspection of any salon, barbershop, or school during business hours for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not the administrative rules of the board and the provisions of this chapter are being observed. Each inspector shall file a report with the board of such findings with respect to each inspection made. Salaries and necessary expenses of the inspectors shall be charged against the fees and other moneys collected by the board.
   II. The commissioner of the department of health and human services shall, with the advice of the board, adopt rules relative to the qualifications for inspectors under this section.
   III. Sanitary inspections of all salons, barbershops, and schools shall be made at least twice each year.
