Section 387:2-a Savings Departments.

The restrictions on investments contained in RSA 387:2 shall apply only to the savings deposits of the savings department of a savings bank. A savings bank may invest its time deposits and the balance of its funds in loans and investments authorized for the commercial department of a trust or banking company under the provisions of RSA 392:39 and 40 and any other laws of this state.
