Section 408:35 Registration Required.
Only a life insurance corporation licensed to do business in this state may, in this state, by direct solicitation or through agents or salesmen, or by letter, circular, or advertising sell, offer for sale, or invite offers for or inquiries about variable contracts and only if it is registered to do so under the provisions of this chapter.
