§1‑437. Liability of bail to sheriff.
The bail taken upon the arrestare, unless they justify, or other bail are given or justified, liable to thesheriff by action for damages which he may sustain by reason of such omission. (C.C.P.,s. 173; Code, s. 315; Rev., s. 755; C.S., s. 795.)
