§ 106‑330. Ownership of destroyed animals; outstanding liens.

When animals have been destroyed pursuant to this Article the inspectorshall take reasonable precautions to determine, prior to his approval ofvouchers in which compensation is claimed, who is the owner of and whetherthere are any mortgages or other liens outstanding against the animals. If itappears that there are outstanding liens, a full report regarding same shall bemade and shall accompany the voucher. Every such report shall include adescription of the liens, the name of the person or persons having possessionof the documentary evidence, and a statement showing what arrangements, if any,have been made to discharge the liens outstanding against the animals destroyedof which the inspector may have knowledge.
