§ 113‑28.1. Designated employees commissionedspecial peace officers by Governor.
Upon application by the Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources,the Governor is hereby authorized and empowered to commission as special peaceofficers such of the employees of the Department of Environment and NaturalResources as the Secretary may designate for the purpose of enforcing the lawsand rules enacted or adopted for the protection, preservation and government ofState parks, lakes, reservations and other lands or waters under the control orsupervision of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
