§ 122C‑289. Duty ofassigned counsel; discharge.
If the respondent iscommitted, assigned counsel remains responsible for the respondent'srepresentation at the trial level until discharged by order of district courtor until the respondent is otherwise unconditionally discharged. If therespondent appeals, counsel for the appeal shall be appointed in accordancewith rules adopted by the Office of Indigent Defense Services.
