§122C‑343.  Involuntary commitments.

Involuntary commitments of non‑Stateresidents are made under the provisions of Parts 6 through 8 of this Article.If after commitment to a 24‑hour facility the facility determines thatthe respondent needs long‑term care and should be returned to his stateof residence, the provisions of G.S. 122C‑345 or G.S. 122C‑361, asappropriate, shall apply.
