§122E‑9. Displacement.
In establishing criteria forG.S. 122E‑8(a), the Agency shall give special attention to designingprotections to provide that any lawful occupants who live in a project asdefined in G.S. 122E‑6(b) prior to rehabilitation or demolition shall notbe displaced as a result of such activity, other than temporarily, in whichcase suitable relocation arrangements shall be provided. The Agency shallpromulgate rules concerning acquisition of property and relocation. (1987,c. 841, s. 1.)
