§ 127A‑128. Equipmentand vehicles.
Equipment and vehicles issuedby the Department of Defense to the National Guard or State defense militiashall be used solely for military purposes, except in those specific caseswhere nonmilitary use is authorized by the Department of Defense and/or theGovernor. Necessary expense in maintaining such equipment and vehicles, notprovided for by the federal government shall be a proper charge against Statefunds appropriated for the National Guard: Provided, such expense shall bespecifically authorized by the Governor and certified by the Adjutant General.
