§ 131E‑97. Confidentiality of patientinformation.
(a) Medical records compiled and maintained by health carefacilities in connection with the admission, treatment, and discharge ofindividual patients are not public records as defined by Chapter 132 of theGeneral Statutes.
(b) Charges, accounts, credit histories, and other personalfinancial records compiled and maintained by health care facilities inconnection with the admission, treatment, and discharge of individual patientsare not public records as defined by Chapter 132 of the General Statutes.
