§ 136‑18.5A. PurpleHeart Memorial Highway.
Interstate Highway 95 in NorthCarolina is designated as the "Purple Heart Memorial Highway" to paytribute to the many North Carolinians who have been awarded the Purple Heartmedal after being wounded or killed in action against the enemy. (2002‑86, s. 2(a).)
