§ 14‑111.3.  Makingunneeded ambulance request in certain counties.

It shall be unlawful for anyperson or persons to willfully obtain or attempt to obtain ambulance servicethat is not needed, or to make a false request or report that an ambulance isneeded. Every person convicted of violating this section shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor.

This section shall apply onlyto the Counties of Alamance, Ashe, Buncombe, Cabarrus, Camden, Carteret,Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Davie, Duplin, Durham, Graham, Greene, Halifax,Haywood, Hoke, Macon, Madison, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender, Polk, Robeson,Rockingham, Washington, Wilkes and Yadkin.
