§ 143‑215.94F. Limited amnesty.
Any owner or operator who reports a suspected discharge or release froman underground storage tank prior to 1 October 1989 shall not be liable for anycivil penalty that might otherwise be imposed pursuant to G.S. 143‑215.88A(a)for violations of G.S. 143‑215.83(a) and G.S. 143‑215.85. Thelimited amnesty provided by this section shall not apply upon a finding by theCommission that the discharge or release was the result of gross negligence oran intentional act. (1987 (Reg.
