§ 143B‑289.42. North Carolina Aquariums;purpose.
The purpose of establishing and maintaining the North CarolinaAquariums is to promote an awareness, understanding, and appreciation of thediverse natural and cultural resources associated with North Carolina's oceans,estuaries, rivers, streams, and other aquatic environments.
