§ 143B‑437.1.  Community Development Council –creation; powers and duties.

There is hereby created the Community Development Council to be locatedin the Department of Commerce. The Community Development Council shall have thefollowing functions and duties:

(1)        To advise the Secretary of Commerce with respect topromoting and assisting in the orderly development of North Carolina countiesand communities.

(2)        To advise the Secretary of Commerce with respect to the typeand effectiveness of planning and management services provided to localgovernment.

(3),       (4) Repealed by Session Laws 1977, c. 198, s. 13.
