§148‑10.1. Employment of clinical chaplains for inmates.
The Department of Correctionis authorized and directed to employ clinical chaplains to provide moral,spiritual and social counselling and ministerial services to inmates in thecustody of the Secretary of the Department of Correction. The Department ofCorrection shall seek to employ a diversity of qualified persons havingdiffering faiths which are to the extent practicable reflective of theprofessed religious composition of the inmate population.
