§148‑60.1. Allowances for paroled prisoner and prisoner on post‑releasesupervision.
Upon the release of anyprisoner upon parole or post‑release supervision, the superintendent orwarden of the institution shall provide the prisoner with suitable clothingand, if needed, an amount of money sufficient to purchase transportation to theplace within the State where the prisoner is to reside. The Post‑ReleaseSupervision and Parole Commission may, in its discretion, provide that theprisoner shall upon his release on parole or post‑release supervisionreceive a sum of money of at least forty‑five dollars ($45.00).
