§19A‑11. Inapplicable to bona fide zoos, etc.
The provisions of this Articleshall not apply to bona fide zoos which are operated by federal, State, orlocal governmental agencies, or to educational institutions in which blackbears are kept or exhibited as part of a bona fide course of training orresearch in the natural sciences, or to black bears held without caging underconditions simulating a natural habitat, the development of which is in accordwith plans and specifications developed by the holder and approved by theWildlife Resources Commission.
