§ 1C‑1832. Supplementary general principles of law.
Unless displaced by particularprovisions of this Article, the principles of law and equity, including the lawmerchant, and the law relative to capacity to contract, principal and agent,estoppel, fraud, misrepresentation, duress, coercion, mistake, bankruptcy, orother validating or invalidating causes shall supplement its provisions.
