§47‑25.  Marriage settlements.

All marriage settlements andother marriage contracts, whereby any money or other estate is secured to thewife or husband, shall be proved or acknowledged and registered in the samemanner as deeds for lands, and shall be valid against creditors and purchasersfor value only from registration.
