Part 1. Conversion toCorporation.
§ 55‑11A‑01. Conversion.
A business entity, other thana domestic corporation, may convert to a domestic corporation if:
(1) The conversion ispermitted by the laws of the state or country governing the organization andinternal affairs of the converting business entity; and
(2) The convertingbusiness entity complies with the requirements of this Part and, to the extentapplicable, the laws referred to in subdivision (1) of this section. (2001‑387, s. 17.)
