§55C‑2. "Public corporation" defined.
The term "publiccorporation" for the purposes of this Chapter, means the State of NorthCarolina or any political subdivision thereof, or any public agency of thisState or any political subdivision thereof, or any public board, bureau,commission or authority created by the General Assembly.
