§ 58‑19‑2. Compliance with federal law.
(a) As used in thissection, "depository institution" has the same meaning as in section3 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, 12 U.S.C. § 1813, and includes anyforeign bank that maintains a branch, an agency, or a commercial lendingcompany in the United States.
(b) With respect toaffiliations between a depository institution or any affiliate of a depositoryinstitution and any insurer, the provisions of section 104(c) of the Gramm‑Leach‑BlileyAct, P.L. 106‑102, shall apply to this Article. (2001‑215, s. 2.)
