§ 58‑50‑135. Elections by carriers.
(a) Repealed by SessionLaws 2006‑154, s. 9, effective July 23, 2006.
(b) A small employercarrier that stops participating as a reinsuring carrier shall pay a proratedassessment based upon business issued as a reinsuring carrier for any part ofthe year that an assessment is made under G.S. 58‑50‑150.
(c) Any small employercarrier that stops writing, administering, or otherwise providing healthbenefit plans to employers in this State shall continue to be governed by thisAct with respect to business conducted under this Act that was transactedbefore the effective date of termination and that remains in force.
